Ministry Moment: Mark Hull and Jeff Juni joined Operation Mobilization’s Sportslink director Silas Mullis on a trip to South Africa and Zambia. We introduced FCA’s 3D Coaching and are partnering with them on creating a “Southern Africa” version to integrate with their current curriculum. 

Prayer Requests:

1. For clear vision, favor and workers for the harvest in our strategic plan for greater impact in the Twin Cities metro area. 

2. Spiritual and emotional health and protection for the marriages and families represented by our staff and our volunteer coaches.

3. Favor, open doors and great follow-up as we see the sports culture change through the engagement of our 3D Coaching curriculum and process.

Ministry Moment: This year's camp season was an inspiring success! Every year we are amazed by the numbers, impact, and lives changed forever. We had 49 camps, 4,183 campers, and 650 decisions for Christ! The crosswalk pictured here was an awe-inspiring event at Leadership Camp!

Prayer Requests:

1. Year-end funding goals.

2. That our staff and their families would be able to slow down and fully enjoy the Christmas season.

3. To see communities transformed for Christ through our coaches who bring their faith to the fields and courts.

Rockies- Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico

Ministry Moment: It had been 10 years since Colorado FCA had held an overnight sports camp. That changed this summer when 120 athletes traveled to the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado. Eighty campers accepted Jesus as their Savior for the first time!

Prayer Requests:

1. For our leaders in Utah to continue to work passionately to bring FCA’s mission and vision to coaches and athletes in the area.

2. Financial growth in all of our areas, but with staff changes going on in New Mexico, we specifically ask for prayers for them.

3. Continued growth for the campers from our overnight sports camp as they return to their campuses and find ways to be a light for Jesus.

Southeast Central- Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana

Ministry Moment: One huge blessing this summer has been the Northeast Alabama FCA Internship Ministry completing its fifth year. This year’s class of 51 interns ministered to 1,136 students, ages 6-13, through four FCA Power Sport Camps in three counties. The program empowers the interns—high school and college students—to share their faith on campus and become leaders.

Prayer Requests:

1. For more staff and volunteers in our region.

2. Continued development for our Coaches Ministry.

3. Continued development for our Community Huddles: off-campus club, recreational and travel programs.
