Inner City Influence

Manny May and Alto King have coached girls basketball together for more than 35 years, including championship teams and girls that have gone on to play professional ball.

Answers to Prayer

Parents at Waite High School in Toledo, Ohio, told the coaches, "we've walked around the school for seven years praying for God to send coaches like you." Prayer and FCA's Core Values are taught during practices, which include a Huddle. Players learn about living for Christ, in addition to how to play basketball.

"As time passes by, I'm always thankful and reminded of God's Word recorded in Psalm 133:1, 'Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!'"

They're true brothers through thick and thin. Basketball brought them together, but a relationship in Christ keeps them together.
