Where there is no vision the people perish….”   Proverbs 28:18

FCA Outdoors hosted its 2016 Outdoor Summit, where outdoor enthusiasts met for three days of fellowship, fun, worship and vision-planning for the ministry. Held at the Charlie Elliot Wildlife Center in Mansfield, Ga., seven states were represented as staff, board members and volunteers harvested Bible teaching, cast vision for outdoor ministry, and received training for practical application to local ministry. Discussion of events and activities included outdoor Huddles, archery and shooting events, mission trips, and equipment availability.

“Everyone realized the tremendous potential to reach people with the gospel through outdoor ministry, and that God has His hand on this movement within FCA,” Paul Dennis, FCA Outdoors Director, said.

The summit created a great environment and unity among the group, and a desire to work together for the Kingdom through the outdoors. Participants walked away with valuable networking, resourcing and partnerships to take the love of God to the world of outdoor sport.
