Northland Region - 2014 JSC Large Group web
NORTHLAND- Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota

Field VP: Jeff Juni

Region Contact Info: JJuni@fca.org

Ministry Moment: We are so thankful for the faithfulness of the volunteers and staff that started our first Junior Sports Clinic 25 years ago in Waseca, Minn. Our youth camps have multiplied across our region over the past seven years and continue to grow.

Prayer Requests:

  1. For discernment and wisdom during the replacement process of several retiring staff in key leadership roles; including our outgoing North Dakota State Director Mark Ouradnik.

  2. For God’s hand of favor and guidance over our new overnight multi-sports camp in Jamestown, N.D.

  3. That the Holy Spirit will work mightily through our camps, coaches’ retreats and golf events this summer.

MID-ATLANTIC- New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, Delaware

Field VP: Jimmy Page

Ministry Moment: Our region has experienced a rapid expansion of major college ministry. Kirby Myers (far left) became the first ever Campus Sports Ministry Director at one of the greatest leadership organizations in the world, the U.S. Naval Academy. The Huddle diversity and growing participation is creating spiritual transformation, energy and unity.

Prayer Requests:

  1. We would keep our eyes on Jesus and live for His pleasure and glory every day in our homes, on the fields and courts, and in our communities.

  2. For new staff to join the team in key areas and roles.

  3. That our staff would “Go Green” with AMP covering monthly ministry expenses and operating with a healthy, positive fund balance.

Rockies Region - Philippines Leadership Pic
ROCKIES- Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona

Field VP: Mike Sanfratello

Region Website: rockiesfca.org

Ministry Moment: In February, we sent our first team of staff from Arizona, Colorado and Wyoming to be a part of the great ministry work that is happening with FCA in the Philippines. We are truly excited about what is still to come from our partnership in their country.

Prayer Requests:

  1. New Mexico FCA’s Night of Champions will honor coaches and athletes in the state. We pray this event continues to bring people and resources to the ministry in the state.

  2. For God to raise up new staff leadership who can bring vision to Utah FCA.

  3. Staff growth. The Rockies Region is primed for growth; we need workers in the field.

SOUTHEAST CENTRAL- Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana

Field VP: Del Wright

Region Contact Info: DWright@fca.org

Ministry Moment: This year's FCA Chick-fil-A Senior Bowl Rally, in Mobile, Ala., was a HUGE success. More than 2,300 people attended, including 31 Senior Bowl players, and 623 people indicated commitments to follow Christ. We heard tremendous testimonies and everyone had a terrific time!

Prayer Requests:

  1. For God to bless FCA Summer Camps across our region.

  2. For God to equip coaches and athletes to minister on their teams and for many to come to faith in Christ.

  3. For God to raise up workers to serve in unstaffed areas of our region (Matthew 9:37-38).
