ELOHIM – God Almighty (primary word for God in the Old Testament) identifies Him as Our Creator.

EL ELYON – God Most High…describes God as the sovereign ruler of all the universe.

EL SHADDAI – Our all-sufficient one.

ADONAI – Lord/Master (plural denoting Trinity…ADON is singular)

YHWH – Jehovah (LORD written in capital letters always means Jehovah…Most frequently used name) He is absolutely self-existent, the One who in Himself possesses essential life, permanent existence…I AM WHO I AM).

JEHOVAH-JIREH – The Lord will provide (not only salvation, but our daily needs, as well).

JEHOVAH-RAPHE – The Lord that heals (physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually).

JEHOVAH-NISSI – The Lord is my banner (a standard carried into battle…He is our victory over Satan).

JEHOVAH-MEKODDISHKEM – The Lord sanctifieth thee (He makes us holy).

JEHOVAH-SHALOM – The Lord is our Peace (our Prince of Peace). He reconciles us to God.

JEHOVAH-SABAOTH – The Lord of Hosts…including the angels and all that the earth contains…it is our name to run to when there seems there is no other help. He is the One who delivers.

JEHOVAH-RAAH – The Lord is my shepherd.

JEHOVAH-TSIDKENU – The Lord our Righteousness.

JEHOVAH-SHAMMAH – The Lord is there (He will never leave us).

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.
