Impact Europe 2015

International Sports Ministry Internship

Bobbio Pellice, Italy – and across Europe

Summer 2015 (June 8 – August 4)

Discover your potential to make sport your mission field for Christ.

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes, in partnership with Operation Mobilization, has established an international sports ministry internship in Europe. This eight-week experience is designed to send the next generation of sports leaders to impact the world for Jesus Christ. Impact Europe 2015 will offer college athletes and those who live in the world of sport a unique international sports ministry experience.

Must be a student athlete who:

  • has a sports background

  • has spent two years in college (preferred)

  • is willing to explore the possibility of serving in a sports ministry context

  • has prior FCA or other sports ministry experience (considered a plus)

Interns will gain a global perspective of international sports ministry while developing character and leadership skills in this cross-cultural learning environment.

The internship is based out of Bobbio Pellice located in northwestern Italy.  Training incorporates classroom teaching as well as team and individual challenges. Experienced sports missionaries and teachers will instruct interns in a Biblical Basis for Sports Ministry, Cultural Sensitivity, Evangelism, Sports Ministry Models and Teambuilding.

Following the initial weeks of training, interns are teamed up and sent out to different countries throughout Europe to host sports camps and clinics with local ministries. The internship ends with a time of debriefing and fellowship back in Bobbio Pellice.

Come join other athletes from around the world and learn how to use your passion for sport to impact the world for Christ!
