Ministry Moment: In early 2015, we were blessed to have FCA President Les Steckel spend a week in the Pacific Northwest. He spoke at the Spokane FCA ALL IN Luncheon at Gonzaga University to help relaunch FCA in the area and shared at the Tri-Cities Night of Champions to raise support for FCA in Central Washington.

Prayer Requests:

1. For the Pacific Northwest Region Sports Camp and numerous local camps across our region.

2. People and financial resources to support current staff and new staff opportunities throughout the region, including Spokane/Inland Empire, Southern Idaho, Alaska, Western Montana, Seattle and Portland.

3. Board chairs to be equipped to effectively lead their teams in order to increase the leadership capacity of their local staff and multiply ministry.

Ministry Moment: We recently hosted our annual Texas College Retreat—a weekend for local college students to have fun, engage in fellowship, and get recharged for the next semester. Each year we have been blown away by the blessings God brings upon this retreat and this year was no different. We had 475 athletes in attendance, 31 universities represented, 65 FCA staff present and 27 commitments to Christ.

Prayer Requests:

1. That God will raise up and bring to our attention the best candidate for our college position at the University of Texas.

2. For our ministry leader in the 3rd Ward of inner-city Houston.

3. For our current and future FCA affiliates in Puerto Rico, El Salvador, Costa Rica and Argentina.

Prayer Requests:

1. The Caribbean.

2. For God’s favor and wisdom in our major market expansion: Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Cleveland and Detroit.

3. That 2015 FCA summer camps will be a blessing to many athletes, coaches, volunteers and staff across the country.

In 2015 events alone, we’ve had 4,037 coaches and athletes in attendance, 1,121 FCA Bibles distributed, 73 people proclaiming Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior for the first time, and 318 recommitments. For more information on our region events, visit: fcacarolinasevents.org.

Prayer Requests:

1. For financial partners to help offset the programing costs for our regional events, and the cost of FCA Bibles given to coaches and athletes who attend the events.

2. For God to raise up an Area Director for the open position in Jacksonville/Coastal N.C.

3. For God to raise up a Multi-Area Director for the open position in Western North Carolina.
