Area Representative - Frederick County, Maryland
FCA in Frederick County Maryland (pop. approx 200,000) is ready to hire a full-time Area Representative to direct the local ministry. Active huddles are in middle schools, high schools and college campuses. Three (3) summer camps are planned for the summer and 3 coaches huddles are up and running. An active leadership board is in place and an Area Director is available to provide leadership and walk alongside the person chosen for this position.
Salary and benefits are negotiable and funds must be raised. The board and the Area Director are ready to help raise the necessary funds to bring a candidate onboard to direct and grow the ministry in this area to it's potential.

Area Representative - Prince George's County, Maryland
FCA in Prince George's County Maryland is very much an urban environment whose ground has been plowed for many years. The fruit is ready to be picked and the candidate called to this area will see a vision that the sky is the limit for this county. There are over 25 public high schools in the area so there is much work to be done. Several huddles are currently meeting and solid plans for a number of camps in the area are in the works.

Area Representative - Metro Atlanta, Georgia
God is using the ministry of FCA Baseball to transform lives throughout metro-Atlanta, and more specifically within the inner city of Atlanta. We are currently seeking an individual to help lead and further develop an exciting initiative that involves the development of inner city baseball at the middle school level.
Requirements for the job include a solid walk with Christ, current or past involvement in baseball and/or FCA, the ability to model the FCA core values of integrity, serving, teamwork and excellence, and the desire to be part of a leadership team working together to reach the inner city youth with the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. The successful candidate will be trained to raise support to cover 70-80% of their salary and expenses.

Area Representative - Brownwood, Texas
The Brownwood Fellowship of Christian Athletes is excited to announce the establishment of a full time FCA office in Brownwood, Texas. This has been accomplished due to the support of several local friends, churches and businesses along with a generous gift from an area foundation. Thanks to their generosity the resources are in place to have this office up and running by July 1, 2010.
FCA leaders are actively seeking a person to run the new FCA office. Interested parties who have a strong Christian faith and a deep background in FCA as well as athletics should contact the Big Country FCA office in Abilene (see below) for application information. Other important considerations for the position are: West Texas background with an understanding of rural West Texas; a willingness and ability to fund raise; be a dependable self-starter.

Area Director - Central Lakes, Minnesota
FCA is seeking candidates to apply for the position of Area Director serving the central lakes and northwest areas of Minnesota. Geographically, this area includes the beautiful lakes region of central and northwest Minnesota, including such cities as Brainerd, Bemidji, Alexandria, St. Cloud and Moorhead. While a large area (32 counties), much of the area is sparsely populated. The hub of the area is Alexandria.
The FCA ministry is very strong in Alexandria and includes an active adult booster club. FCA and the YMCA have a partnership that includes an agreement to provide FCA office space in a brand new YMCA facility opening this spring.
There are 28 active huddles and 2 active coaches' Legacy Builder groups in the Central Lakes area with the potential to expand to other cities and smaller communities. Due to the efforts of the previous director an active board is in place and ready to serve the new Director.
Financial support for this position is partially in place, however more development is needed before the new director would officially start ministry work.
Support and supervision for this position is provided by Glenn Martin. The successful candidate will join a strong team of 13 FCA staff members who work collaboratively to accomplish not only the greater vision and mission of FCA, but the goals of Minnesota's 2020 Vision.
A solid walk with Christ as well as a clear calling by God to the FCA ministry, good people skills and strong leadership skills are essential for candidates applying for this position.

Area Representative (Female) - Inner City Atlanta, Georgia
FCA is making a big impact in the Inner City Atlanta GA schools. As a result the Area Director is seeking women who have a calling to minister to the coaches and student athletes in the inner city schools. The Inner City area covers approximately 15 schools (8 middle schools and 7 high schools).
Requirements for the job include a solid walk with Christ, current or past involvement in athletics or FCA, the ability to model the FCA core values of integrity, serving, teamwork and excellence, and the desire to be part of a leadership team working together to reach the inner city youth with the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. The successful candidate will be trained to raise support to cover 60-70% of their salary and expenses.

Area Representative - Fargo, North Dakota
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) has an opening for an Area Representative in North Dakota serving out of Fargo. The preferred candidate will be a local (Fargo) resident as they will have an advantage of existing relationships (donors/coaches/community contacts) to help support the ministry financially as well as its programs. A calling and a passion to serve in a Sports Ministry will be essential to the success of the person filling this role.
FCA in North Dakota has an established Leadership Board however the successful candidate will have the opportunity to add to his or her own leadership team. FCA North Dakota staff will assist the person serving Fargo in their efforts to raise the support necessary while expecting them to be comfortable raising a majority of their own support.

Area Representative - Lancaster County, PA
The Eastern METRO Region of FCA is seeking to fill an Area Representative position in Lancaster County, PA. This is a single county area that currently has several active huddles. This area has not been staffed recently but has had a strong staff presence from Harrisburg. It needs to have an established board and funding needs to be raised. This can be a full-time or part-time position.
Qualified individuals should have a clear calling from God to minister to coaches and athletes, a servant’s heart and a passion for seeing lives changed through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The person hired for this position must model the FCA core values of integrity, serving, teamwork and excellence.
The position is responsible for growing the ministry of FCA through the 4 C’s (coaches, campus, camps and community). Duties include leading a Leadership Board, raising the needed financial support through relationship building, and working with community leaders. Area Representative - Eastern Iowa
FCA is announcing an opening for a new staff member to serve in Eastern Iowa. The qualified individual will step into a dynamic area that has a well-established leadership board and growing donor base as well as 20-plus active school huddles. This office presently serves 27 counties, but the primary job responsibility would be in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City area.
The staff person will enjoy ministry responsibilities of building relationships with coaches, student leaders and area donors; planning and implementing ministry program to athletes and coaches; working with volunteers, as well as stewardship responsibilities of raising funds for the ministry.
This will be a full-time salaried position requiring a solid walk with Christ; good people and leadership skills; be a self-starter and possess a good work ethic; and also have the ability to successfully network within the community.
The candidate filling this position will report to the Area Director for Eastern Iowa FCA. They will work as a team to serve huddles, equip existing huddle leaders and start new huddles. Other responsibilities will include helping to organize an established annual Power Camp, Fields of Faith event, FCA Huddle Rally and Sports Camp. This person will model the values of FCA: integrity, serving, teamwork and excellence.

Area Representative - Far Western Kentucky
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is announcing a full-time staff opportunity to serve Christ as an Area Representative in our Western Kentucky Office, located in Paducah. This beautiful area of Kentucky is a rural community which features Lake Barkley and Murray State University. Along with the cities of Paducah and Hopkinsville, this office serves a 14county area and presently has activity on 30 school campuses.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a clear calling by God to the FCA ministry, as well as current or past involvement with athletics and FCA. All candidates must possess a solid walk with Christ; have good people and leadership skills; be a self-starter and possess a good work ethic; and also possess the ability to successfully network within the community.
This position is responsible for developing all aspects of FCA ministry in the assigned geographic service area. And while this area does have a good history of FCA ministry, it still has tremendous potential for growth. The staff person will enjoy ministry responsibilities of building relationships with coaches, student leaders, and area donors; planning and implementing ministry program to coaches and athletes; developing and working with a Leadership Board of volunteers; as well as stewardship responsibilities of raising funds for the ministry.
